Hide the assistive touch home button on iPad when using a mouse

Can I use assistive touch on my ipad to allow me to customize additional buttons on my BT Logitech mouse WITHOUT having the square with a circle inside home button on my screen that I cannot hide?

Accessibility feature - Pointer style option on iPhone 14 I have followed the instructions from the Apple website to enable using a mouse with my iPhone as listed here: (How to use a pointer device with AssistiveTouch on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support. However, the section below about changing the pointer does not show up on my iPhone: Adjust the color, size, or Auto-Hide time on your iPhone or iPod touch 1. Go to Settings > Accessibility and select Touch. 2 Select AssistiveTouch, then select Pointer Style. The pointer will move as you move your input device. I've attached screen prints from my iPhone below following these steps: Settings > Accessibility > (Physical and Motor) > Touch > Assistive Touch > Pointer style option is missing. I further tapped on Devices > Bluetooth > then drilling down to my Logitech mouse (M720). That offers a choice to customize the mouse buttons, but nothing else. I am using an iPhone 14 running on iOS 18.3.2. I've seen other users with this same question, but have not seen any solution, other than referring back to the same article. Any suggestions?
