Minecraft app disappears on my son’s iPad when I turn on Screen Time

I have scoured every setting everywhere I can think to look for which setting is toggled on that shouldn’t be and I cannot figure out what makes Minecraft disappear when I turn screen time on for my 6 year old. I even added it to his “always allowed” list of apps and it didn’t bring it back. We need to have screen time for various reasons, so leaving it off so he can play his favorite game isn’t a good option for us. Why would a screen time setting remove the app from his iPad? I have an hour limit on and downtime hours, but this has to be a separate setting interfering.

iPhone 7, iOS 12

Hello Mcoll2,

This is not expected behavior, so we'd like to suggest a few things which might help with this behavior.

If none of those steps resolve this behavior, we advise reaching out to Minecraft to determine if there is anything that needs to be adjusted within the app to allow it to work with Screen Time.

Let us know if we can help with anything else at all. Take care.
