Swipe up from the bottom of the screen to pull up the Control Center. Look for the icon of the two mask, theatre mode. If that’s highlighted, tap it to turn it off.

Did you shut off "Wake on Wrist Raise"?

From your phone, open the Watch app then click on "Display and Brightness".

Is the toggle for "Wake on Wrist Raise" turned on (green)?
