sderror domain error 104.

hello, ventura users forgot the password of the computer, so I took it to recovery mode and changed the password, but when restarting the disk, it accepts the old password, then when we want to enter the disk, it does not accept the new password or old one?

I can't login to the boot screen , Do I need to reset the computer as a last resort?

Many thankss

From the description in above, it appears the set has a Firmware Password issue

refer to link below

Set a firmware password on your Mac - Apple Support (CA)

Caveat from an excerpt from above link

" If you forgot your firmware password "

" If you can't remember your firmware password, schedule an in-person service appointment with an Apple Store or Apple Authorized Service Provider. Bring your Mac to the appointment, and bring your original receipt or invoice as proof of purchase. "

I had to inactive to change the password, mac was not active after the password change.

I think something happened with the harddisk, because it was entered too wrong, the device protected itself. Although I entered the bypass key, it did not improve, as you said, it may need to go to the technical service.

Cheers.

Sorry, but can not understand what is stated in above.

If the Padlock appeared when the Computer was First started from the Off Position and the password did not work.

The Only option is to find the Right Password or do as previously mentioned
