Abaclock removal

I have an iPad that was once used as a clock in/clock out device at the workplace. I cannot use it now for anything else. There is no access to iPad settings despite rebooting several times. Is there a way to access the iPad or remove the clocking in function that is no longer needed?

I am not sure of the model because I cannot enter settings to check. Currently on ios 12 but will upgrade to ios 16 if accessed.

Thank you

To expand on the above, it is probably a supervised device using an MDM that has forced it into kiosk mode.

Take it back to the IT people that configured it.

Only the IT person at said workplace can remove it.
