iPhone 7

Can an iPhone 7 be used on a wifi network but without being on a phone network? If yes, how do set it up. I've erased all data from the phone.

Yes, if you don't want to use Cellular Data, you can simply disable Cellular Data and use Wi-Fi only.


You can deactivate Cellular Data here:

Settings -> Cellular -> Cellular Data. Deactivate.


If you do not need to use your iPhone 7 to make calls or send messages, you can also easily remove the SIM card and only use Wi-Fi. However, you cannot use your iPhone as an Internet Hotspot without a SIM card and Cellular Data activated.
