Google Streetview not working in Safari 5.0.1

Has anyone else had problems with Google Streetview since upgrading to Safari 5.0.1? It's ridiculously slow and I end up spending ages just staring at that little multicoloured spinny thing. I used to be able to 'walk' around the streets, now it takes entire minutes just for one screen to load. I tried it in Firefox and it works fine (but I don't like or want to use Firefox!).

Thanks for the tips, but sadly it doesn't solve the problem - that's just stuff I do as standard a few times a day anyway (I'm obsessive about 'cleaning' my Macbook!). I have no idea why it doesn't work for me, then - it worked fine, then I installed the newest version of Safari and it doesn't work anymore. It's driving me so mad I think I'm going to go back to the last version of Safari until the next update comes out and see if it works then.

Nope, won't have deleted anything necessary - or at least I hope not! I just mean I always clean out cookies, histories, caches etc at least a few times a day.

I think it must be the browser extensions. I do have some installed - and upon checking, one of them is Google-related - when the **** did I install that?! I'll try disabling it, I bet that's been the problem all along! I also have Ad-Block so I'll see if that needs updating.
