Siri’s chime is a “dud”?

Since the last update, Siri’s chime has turned into a dud sound! How can I change this to get the pleasant chime back? Thanks!

Hello werblessed,

Thank you for using Apple Support Communities. If you're using an iPad, all adjustable audio settings can be found by going to Settings > Sounds. You can also adjust certain Siri settings by going to Settings > Siri & Search. With that being said, if you're fully updated to iOS 16 or iPadOS 16, you will no longer hear a sound when Siri is activated. You'll only see the animation prompting you that Siri is listening.

No, your information is not helpful. It doesn't address the question at all.

"The siri activation chime is not customizable. You are stuck with a dull thud that fades out over an exceptionally long period of time eliminating the users ability to know when Siri is actually listing to the first thing they say. The result will a dramtic increase in the number of wrong responses that will waste connectivity resources and frustrate the **** out of users."
