Lost my passcode. Is there any way to copy videos etc. to PC before I "Restore" and lose all? (Not backed up and not saved to the cloud)
Backups must occur before catastrophes. After a catastrophe it’s too late.
All data on your iPhone will be erased.
If you forgot your iPhone passcode - Apple Support
Use apple website to retrieve ID. If backed up to cloud should all be there.
once and if you regain access takes a little bit of time but it all returns. Sometimes asks for last passcode you remember.
If possible take to Apple store request appt with “Genius tech”

An iPhone passcode can never be retrieved this way. Retrieving an iPhone passcode this way would require Apple to have access to the passcode, which they do not.

That would be true if the original poster lost her/his Apple ID. It is not true, however, for this actual situation where the iPhone passcode is forgotten.

Im assuming it’s your numeric password you lost

I had a similar personal experience I was able to retrieve via Apple ID and email associated with it

Typically Apple ID passwords are not numeric! But iPhone passcodes are.
