I am having trouble printing from an application on my Mac

I am having an issue trying to print from within my Chrome web browser. For example when I am trying to print an obituary from a funeral home site, I get the message:

"The selected printer is not available or not installed correctly.

Check your printer or try selecting another printer."

I can print files from Acrobat or Word or Xcel without any problems...

I am running macOS Monterey

Version 12.6.2

I have another iMac 21", that is running macOS Ventura 13.1 and I have no problem printing from Chrome on this one...

Any thoughts???

iMac 27″, macOS 10.13

Thanks for reaching out Kritter44,

It sounds like your Printer isn't recognized by Chrome. We can help.

We can start by determining if the issue is with the printer drivers, or with Chrome. We can do this by first following these steps to Remove a printer from your printer list when you don’t use it on Mac, and then Add a printer to your printer list so you can use it on Mac.

Give that a try first, and if you're still having trouble printing from Google Chrome, but not other apps, you may need to reach out to Google for further support of their app: Google Help.

Hope that helps.

Take care.
