Why can't the iPad browser search bar location be on the bottom?

I just got an iPad and I’m using 16.3 currently. I would love to have the ability to have the search bar be at the bottom, of the safari browser? I have normal sized hands, and feel like this can’t just be annoying for me. Having to reach up to type something into the top of the browser each time is not the greatest user experience in my option (but perhaps it just me).

Anyways, if anyone has more detail here that’d be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Unlike iOS for iPhone, iOS/iPadOS for iPad does not support placement of the Tab/Search bar at the bottom of the screen - most likely because iPad is simply too large to hold and operate with one hand.

Apple do invite submission of comments and feature requests via its Product Feedback portal. For iPad and iPadOS:

Meanwhile, you may want to look at other browsers available in the App store to see if any of them better suit your needs.
