My toddler dropped my 2021 Apple tv siri remote in a bath tab for about 20 minutes before my wife noticed and now the remote is not working.How do i go about it...

when my wife dropped our siri remote a few time in the footbath it stopped working too, but it actually worked if connected to the lightning ac charger, but that was annoying so we bought a new one
