Hello ebaa149,

The firmware version you mentioned in your post is one of Apple's past firmware updates. The current AirPods Pro firmware version is 5B58.

Check out this website on Apple if you want to confirm that your AirPods Pro are genuine:

If you want to get more information on firmware updates for AirPods, check out this link:

About firmware updates for AirPods - Apple Support

You AirPods Pro should automatically update to the latest firmware version when they are connected to one of your Apple devices via bluetooth, but if they do not, you can follow these steps to force the update:

  • Connect your AirPods to your iPhone (make sure Bluetooth is on). Keep them in their case with the lid open.
  • Then, connect the charging cable that came with your AirPods to the charging case and leave your AirPods connected to their power source during the firmware update.
  • Your AirPods should be fully updated after about 30 minutes.

I hope this helps. Have a nice day.
