is it possible to download microsoft word to macOS Catalina?

As I read it, it appears that if you subscribe to Office 365 you can download & install previous versions of Office including v16.66 which was the final version compatible with Catalina.

If you had downloaded Word (and/or Powerpoint or Excel) and used them in, say, High Sierra before upgrading to Catalina, follow the advice in this link to reinstall apps you had acquired from the App store:

If you subscribe to Office 365, or are willing to do so, foloow the advice in this link to reinstall Microsoft apps such as Word, Powerpoint and Excel (I had an Office 365 subscription):
