Hi! I’m texting one of my friends and I live in Scotland and they live in Hungary and we both have iPhones and I just want to make sure it won’t cost money?

Here’s a way to tell:
…Apple Messages showing green bubbles require carrier SMS/MMS messages, and that can cost.
…Apple Messages showing blue bubbles uses Wi-Fi or cellular data to send the messages. As long as you’re within your cellular data cap, there are no added costs.
You need to pay, sms is not free, ask you carrier.
If you use WhatsApp, it is free.
