Photobooth won't record video.

Hi,

I'm running the macOS Monterrey 12.6.2 on a macbook pro m1

Ever since I bought it I haven't been able to record a video using photobooth. I was hoping that with the latest update it would be fixes but it isn't.

I haven't installed any other cameras, no other apps are using the camera at the moment, I have reinstalled the OS, I have created a different user. NOTHING WORKS.

Everytime I press record it saves the first frame and then creates a video with that frame and no sound. I have seen other people asking about this and getting no response from apple.

What is there to do?
