how to erase disabled Ipad thats offline

I can't disable this iPad device cause my computer won't let me update it to newest iTunes since its a apple air 2018 model s o I'm sending it back and. just getting a windows that will update to newest software but since I know my Apple ID and password isn't there another way to get in it easier????
