Hi,
I recently noticed that there are two unauthorized phones linked to my Apple Car Play. I am reading multiple blogs that say a phone can only be linked from inside the car. Is it possible for someone to link my car without being inside it? I have a 2017 Honda CR-V EX. Thank you for your responses.

Troubleshooting Unauthorized Phones in Car Play:
A. Thoughts on this Occurrence:
A passenger may have added it, by accident. If it's a used car, then I may be the previous owner's device. If you have a child, perhaps they were wise-enough to add it.
B. Reset the Audio System:
If an option, reset the audio system, and rid of what is in there.
C. Consider Modifying your Credentials:
Having come across unknown devices in Car Play, then consider modifying your credentials.
