If you're noticing a difference in sound for your AirPods on your devices, you can adjust the sound effects.
Change the volume of sound effects using iPhone or iPad
- Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your device.
- On your iPhone or iPad, go to Settings
> Accessibility > AirPods. - Select your AirPods, then adjust Tone Volume.

Change the volume of sound effects using Apple Watch
- Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your Apple Watch.
- On your Apple Watch, go to Settings
> Accessibility > AirPods, then adjust Tone Volume.
Change the volume of sound effects using Apple TV
- Wear your AirPods, and make sure they’re connected to your Apple TV.
- On your Apple TV, go to Settings
> Accessibility > AirPods, choose your AirPods, then adjust Tone Volume.
