Logic Pro X / GarageBand - Software Monitoring not working

I’ve read, that for most people it works out by disabling “Auto Input Monitoring”, but in my case it just won’t help matters .

I have rec armed the track I want to record on and activated monitoring on the track .

Somehow I can’t get any trace of a signal …no visual or audible.

I’m using a Avid DIGI002 Rack on macOS Big Sur - machine .

Audio and MIDI work otherwise just fine … I hear the metronome and if I drag a loop from the browser and hit play I can hear the loop playing .

It’s just this software monitoring issue .

All’s fine in REAPER and Pro Tools … everything works 100% .
