My apple account has been locked. How can I verify this is not phishing?

How do I know if the text I received is not a phishing text?

If it is a text it is phishing.


Scams (e-mail, text messages, and phone calls) are getting very good at closely imitating true Apple communications. Always be cautious. Here are some guidelines:
