Office Mac 2008 will not open after recent update of MacBook Pro 13", when high Sierra was removed and Catalina installed. Machine is not partitioned with bootcamp. The above preference error window displayed a couple of times.-preference error: could not load software update preference pane.-

System now shows up to date but Office is barred. Can windows 10 be installed with bootcamp?

MacBook Pro 13″, macOS 10.15
