Free up music space on iMac

I need to reduce the space my Apple Music (357GB) library and old iTunes library (102GB) uses on my newish M1 iMac, currently a total of using 583GB with associated files. When I looked to see how to move it to an external drive and play it from there I noticed a greyed out music folder with 105GB of data. I have two questions:

1) How do I fix the greyed out folder and why is it like that? See screenshot, folder in middle column.

2) How do I move all my music to free up space, currently using half my 1TB storage?

Thanks

"Thanks so much. Bit confused by 'Import all of the items into a Library....' What library, or do I create a new one? If so, how? Cheers"

You are welcome.

List of Music:

I took it as a list is what you would create (your select all, and then paste it into a preascheet program lick Microsoft Excel.

Export these as Files:

Q1. "1) How do I fix the greyed out folder and why is it like that? See screenshot, folder in middle column."

A1. That is greyed-out because it is a system file, which cannot be fiddled with.

Q2. "2) How do I move all my music to free up space, currently using half my 1TB storage?"

A2. Import all of the items into a Library, and then export the library. OR, you could create a Time Machine Backup of your Mac, and then reinstall everything, and import import what need be through use of Migration Assistant.
