Charging while power off

Can I charge the iPhone by keeping it off .it turns on automatically. If yes how can it be charged in that way.

ios 17 charging My iphone 11 stopped charging right after the ios 17 update. I figured out that the only way I can charge it now is when it’s completely turned off. Is there any way I can fix this?

Plug it into your charger. After the charging process starts, turn your iPhone OFF.
