Back arrow not showing or working on Safari

Just updated my iMac - Mac OS Monterey 12.6.3. Now no back arrow is showing when I use Safari. Suggestions please.

You can replace the Back/Forward icons or the entire default set of toolbar icons using Safari's View menu > Customize Toolbar...

safari address bar After updating to Mac OS Sonoma, the safari address in separate view disappeared, if I right click to "customize toolbar" twice, safari will crash. The address bar is only shown in compact view, but in compact view, I cant command+L to type in the address bar directly.

iMac - Home button on safari is on the tool bar but doesn't work I have the home button on my safari toolbar on my iMac but it is grayed out and does not work. Does anyone know how to fix this?
