I'll accept that iCloud for Windows isn't a top tier product for Apple, but it should have the same security posture as any product that uses Apple ID. Please close this gap so iCloud for Windows users aren't cut off. They are either iPhone customers or likely iPhone and Mac customers already.

Out of frustration I followed the help links from the continuously prompting login window on Windows and clicked the first thing I found for asking why this was the case.
Upon reflection I'd delete the question from this community forum if I could but it seems I can't.

No one here in this user-to-user forum would know Apple's plans for the future. We will all need to wait for future announcements.

iCloud for Windows doesn't work with Security Keys at launch. Is it coming in the future though?
