What is this Extra Wi-Fi symbol on Home Screen?

it ONLY shows on the home screen, not when I have apps open or on the lock screen.

Thoughts?

Could it be part of your wallpaper image? Change wallpaper and see if it is still there.

OMG, that was it! Thank you. Image was not cropped enough and the symbol was from the software used to capture the image and would float in every time I went back to the home screen.
