Lockscreen widgets

When I try to add widgets to lockscreen (ios 16.3) they are black and white. How can I get color?

Hello pbj_3675

If you want to change the color of your widgets on the Lock Screen, then you need to change the color on the clock. The clock, the date and your widgets will have the same color.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to give them individual colors.

Photos and Contacts Widgets cannot be added to the Lock Screen. The only Widgets that can be added to the lock screen are those that you can add just below the clock.

The "standard" widgets that can be added to the Home Screen cannot be changed in color, except that you can change them from Light to Dark mode. You can do that in Settings, then go to Screen & Brightness - and choose between Light and Dark mode.
