"Settings" app totally disappeared from my iPad!

Hello. I have a very strange issue, but it is serious. While using my ipad (10th gen) I decided to go to Settings, but I noticed that it is not on my home screen, even in the App Library when I search for it! It is gone! The only way I managed to go in Settings is from the Search menu, which you can access by swiping down from the home screen. When I type "settings" there are popping up a few options, for example an accessibility setting. And that's the only way I can access to my Settings app.

This is really scary, why this app will disappear from the App Library in the first place?

I am uploading some screenshots so you can see exactly what I mean. I really hope there is some explanation and a fix for that. Please, help.

Try a forced-restart of your iPad - as this should clear any isolated software issues:

Force restart iPad (models with Face ID or with Touch ID in the top button)

If your iPad doesn’t have the Home button, do the following:

  1. Press and quickly release the volume button nearest to the top button.
  2. Press and quickly release the volume button farthest from the top button.
  3. Press and hold the top button.
  4. When the Apple logo appears, release the top button.

Force restart iPad (models with the Home button)

Press and hold the top button and the Home button at the same time. When the Apple logo appears, release both buttons.
