New Chrome Bookmarks on iPad Automatically Save to Previous Folder

When I create a new bookmark in Chrome on iPad, it defaults the location to the last folder I saved a bookmark to. I have to quickly tap the Edit button to change the folder, or I end up with an airline page saved to my Recipes folder. I can't see a way to choose the desired folder when I am creating the bookmark. Is this really how it is supposed to work? I'm trying to get more organized with my browsing but this isn't helping! 🙃

Thanks for posting in the Apple Support Communities kls9036,

Do you encounter the same behavior when bookmarking a page in Safari?

The following page offers guidance that can help you try it out: Bookmark favorite websites in Safari on iPad

If the behavior seems to be isolate to Chrome, we recommend getting support through the developer of the app. They'll be the most familiar with the software they offer, and any steps that can be taken specific to it.

The following page explains how to reach them: How to contact an app developer

Cheers!
