Apple watch alarm

Lost the chirping birds as my Apple watch alarm at the update to iOS 16.2 or watchOS 9.3. How do I get it back? It's still there to announce the hour (which would drive me bonkers).

In your phone, open the Health app.

Scroll down to the section called "Your Schedule".

Click "Edit".

Scroll down to "Sounds & Haptics" and click on it.

On the next screen you'll find your choices, one of which is "Birdsong"

You will likely need to edit each of your sleep schedules if you have more than one setup.

Hopefully this will get those birdies chirping for you again :-D

P.S. The latest software release for the iPhone is 16.3. You might also want to get that installed when you get a chance.

This is more complex or I'm over-thinking it, but here goes...

Did you have to set this alarm every night before bed?

If so, then you were probably doing that from within the Clock app (open Clock app then tap Alarm at the bottom). You can create a new one by hitting the plus sign in the upper right corner (+) or modify an existing one by tapping on the time (i.e. "6:30AM" not the slider). Once you tap the time, the next screen will open and you can set "Sound" to the Birdsong.

If you weren't having to turn that alarm on every night, then you must have had it set up as a Sleep Schedule.

And then it just hit me!!! LOL!

I think that I've got it now!

I don't know what time your sleep schedule started (doesn't matter really), but lets say that it started at 9:00PM and went to 6:30AM. The birds are going to start chirping at 6:30 :-)

I believe that you also had your Do Not Disturb set up except that it was set up for a different ending time (9:00AM).

Sooo... Go into your phone Settings

Go down to "Focus" and click on it

Click on "Do Not Disturb"

Go down to the section called "Set a Schedule"

Is there a schedule showing there? I don't know what the start time is but the end time is likely 9:00AM. If so, click on it. If not, click "Add Schedule".

On this next screen, you can edit the times (or enter times period). I see that there is also a slider at the top of the screen for "Schedule". Mine is toggled on right now meaning that the Do Not Disturb will turn on automatically at the listed times.

Is your toggle currently green or did it get shut off?

How am I doing, am I close? LOL

Thanks to Pilerman, it kind of works. Here's the rest of the story: I set an alarm for 06:30 but don't want to be disturbed until 09:00. Until the updates mentioned earlier, sleep focus was on until 9 with no alarm. A separate alarm was set for 6:30 and birdsong played. A very nice way to be awakened. It still works but chimes play at 6:30, not so pleasant. Yes, life can be SO difficult!
