mDNSResponder doesn't build on VS2022

Hello,

The latest commit for Bonjour service (mDNSResponder) in GitHub doesn't build in VS 2022.

The last commit that builds on VS 2022 is dated from 12 moths (hash: bad6277).

Has any one tried to build the latest code on VS 2022?

mDNSresponder high sending bytes In the activity monitor I see high sending bytes of the process mDNSresponder, when I search online for screenshots I see that it is mainly receiving bytes but not sending this much. Currently it is sending 38 kb/min which seems high compared to others on the internet. Even in safemode it is sending this much data. can anyone please help me if this is normale behaviour or if i need to do something?

View DNS cache (using MacOS Monterey version 12.6.5) Is there anyway to view the DNS cache on Mac? All the information I've been able to gather so far online has led to a dead end. The most common solution I find is this one: Open up the Console and search for any:mdnsresponder and press "Start" Open up Terminal and enter sudo killall –INFO mDNSResponder Go back to Console to see DNS records However, I do not see any DNS records in the Console. Instead, I see record of mDNSResponder activity, but not DNS records themselves. In fact, I have seen this message a few times: Sending SIGINFO to mDNSResponder daemon is deprecated. To trigger state dump, please use 'dns-sd -O', enter 'dns-sd -h' for more information. Anyone have any thoughts?

Problem connecting to server 127.0.0.1 Since updating my MacBookPro to Ventura (just got my MBP back from AppleCare service, and they replaced my logic board, among other things, so I ended up with latest OS and had to restore my data from backup), whenever I use Brother iPrint&Scan to scan something, I get a dialog saying "There was a problem connecting to the server 127.0.0.1". I can dismiss the dialog by clicking the OK button, but the dialog reappears around a dozen times. I've updated all the Brother software (and even its firmware, not that that matters). After dismissing the dialog the last time, the scan completes successfully. I'm scanning to my local disk. Any suggestions? I have no idea why iPrint&Scan is looking to access a loopback-based server.

Fork it and fix it and send a pull request?

Check the existing forks for somebody retrofitting Windows, too.

Otherwise, send your feedback to the folks that work for Apple, either by the Developer Feedback preferably, or via Apple Product Feedback.
