Compatibility with Sony Dualsense Edge Wireless Controllers

Hi, I just got my hands on a dualsense edge controller which was newly released, and I found it not working with my iPad. I'm currently running iPadOS 16.3 on my iPad Pro, the issue seems to be compatibility since it does connect with my iPad, simply having no response whatsoever when I'm using the controller. Tried restarting the controller and iPad several times, resetting, nothing worked. Sony has no announcement on the problem saying there's no compatibility issue. So...is this just me or will there be a fix on the upcoming OS updates?

iPad Pro, 12.9-inch, 6th Gen, Wi-Fi

Updated my ipad to Ipados 16.4 and DS Edge is working now

Thanks for using Apple Support Communities. We understand you are running into an issue using a third-party controller with your iPad Pro. We're happy to share some information to help. We were able to find some compatibility information and while de vices running iPadOS 14.5 or later are compatible, this is only with compatible games and applications. You may also find that certain features on the controller might not be available. There’s no guarantee that all devices are compatible with the controller. If you're able to pair and use other devices without issue and this is isolated to this controller, you would want to continue working with Sony toward a resolution.

Something like that yeah, I think it does get recognised as controller tho. In settings you can see it under the controller list but I cannot change any configuration like panel light colour. On MacOS it gets recognised in Steam's controller configurator but outside nah; however it works perfectly with Win11 via Parallel Desktop on MacOS. Just hope they get this done ASAP cuz I literally spent 200 pounds on a bloody decoration

yeah that's what I get as well, don't think it's gonna be fixed soon, but hopefully they will do something with this. Sad.

I still think the issue is on ios not recognizing edge as a controller. ds4windows and dsx on steam both can emulate the edge so I think we just need a patch like the 14.5 to enable dualsense edge as a controller
