iphone12 calls going straight to voicemail

Evening all,

I have a standard Iphone12. for the last few weeks, I cannot seem to get calls, it doesnt ring, it doesnt show anyone is ringing my phone, the only way I know a call has come in is either if they leave a voicemail and I get a text alert, or the missed call icon shows on home screen.

It is not on do not disturb, the volume levels are on high constantly. I have some really important calls due soon, and cannot really afford to keep missing them and having to text them or ring them back saying phone is playing up.

I can make calls to people fine, but cannot receive any!

All other phone features are working as should be, and getting all notifications sounds etc

Getting really annoying, have tried all tips & tricks shown online and still nothing.

Any ideas peeps??????

Checking if Do Not Disturb is enabled is a great first step to isolate the issue.

Have you also had the chance to restart the device?

To restart the device, follow the steps below.

"Press and hold either volume button and the side button until the power-off slider appears.
Drag the slider, then wait 30 seconds for your device to turn off. If your device is frozen or unresponsive, force restart your device.
To turn your device back on, press and hold the side button (on the right side of your iPhone) until you see the Apple logo."
