FaceTime group spam, mass attacks

Googling this shows it an ongoing problem for years. Someone can call you on facetime with 30 people in a group. And just keep doing it. every few minutes 30 more people. Blocking individually is not a solution, this is a mass attack. Come on Apple, I can't even refuse or remove a call in progress, it just shows active and join. We (USERS) need a way to 1. kill, not just join active conversation from group spammers. 2. Block a chain of people on a FaceTime attack spam. If they can call 30 at a time I need to block 30 at a time. Quit leaving us vulnerable. I literally had an Apple advisor tell me to just turn off FaceTime. ???? So this very expensive set of features in the most expensive phone cannot be accessed because the only solution to spam groups is to disable features? That's crazy Apple, fix this.

Hi texastiger,

Thank you for participating in the Apple Support Communities. We understand you'd like a more efficient way to block spam calls in FaceTime. It sounds like blocking individually as explained in this article is not a solution for you: Block unwanted callers in FaceTime on iPhone.

"

  1. In your FaceTime call history, tap the Info button next to the name, phone number, or email address of the contact you want to block.
  2. Scroll down, tap Block this Caller, then tap Block Contact.

"

If you'd like to see more features added to address this, we recommend leaving feedback for Apple here: Product Feedback - Apple. This is the best way to make your voice heard.

Take care.
