Garage Band Track Limitation

Hey there,

So recently while working on a song on garage band I reached the limit of 32 tracks for the song but I still need some more tracks to finish. Is there any way to be able to add more tracks or any other solution?

thanks in advance

What I’ve done in the past is a bit messy, but:

  1. save a copy of the song
  2. solo several tracks that are not likely to need changes and bounce them to a file (share, save to files…)
  3. remove the bounced tracks to free up more tracks
  4. use one of the new tracks to import the bounced file from #2
  5. add Other tracks…
  6. if you need to edit the bounced tracks separately, go back to the file you saved in #1. Then re-bounce and import into latest song file
