Why did I lose all my photos in my text messages

I broke my phone had to restore my phone to a new 14 promax and lost all my photos in my text messages why?

I got a new phone and not all of the photos and videos from text messages are not there anymore. Can I get them back somehow? Can I get my missing photos and videos that were sent in text messages back? Not all of them are there since I got a new phone.

More photos will be shown once messages finishes indexing. When I checked for texted photos in Photos in text message I get this notification "More photos will be shown once messages finishes indexing." I did a full backup from my Iphone 12 on my PC and I did a restore on my new Iphone 15. Can anyone tell me how to retrieve my missing photos?

And yes I have backed it up to the cloud I have had an apple forever…

This has never happened before I save all my texts.. this new iOS update blows facebook won’t even load!
