MacBook Air - warranty repair

What are the options Apple would provide if they cannot fix a laptop (or any product) while under warranty? Apple has been working on a Mac Book Air for about three weeks, ran diagnostics in the store, sent it to the repair center, came back and issue persisted. Sent laptop back to the store they confirmed logic board and several others needed to be replaced. Replaced all parts and problems still persists, sending back to the repair center again. The laptop was bought brand new from Amazon. If the laptop cannot be fixed - what is there suggested resolution? I have been told already they cannot replace because it was purchased via Amazon and the warranty is coming up on expiration in a couple weeks. Any thoughts?
