itunes plays fine on my PC except one song which repeated claims is not authorized on my PC. This is wrong, everything is authorized. And only that one song out of everything purchased will not play. What is going on.

That usually means the file is corrupted. Delete it form your library and download a fresh copy (at no charge). The steps are in here:

To be clear, you should not need to "buy it again". Instead, you re-download from your previous purchase list in your account in the iTunes Store.
Buying it again might one day result in another charge.
