Screen Time not Working on IPad Pro

I recently got my iPad Pro and ever since I got it screen time have never worked today I tried turning it off and turn it on in settings for a second I thought it worked because it showed my screen time but then it just went blank again what should I do? Also my iPad updates are up to date.
