Music Production advice.

What is the better choice for music production/recording full bands etc. The new Mac Mini M2 Pro with 32 ram & 1TB or the Mac Studio M1 max with the same 32 ram & 1 TB?

Appropriate Mac Studio for Logic Pro X and other music software I am in the market for a Mac Studio, but I do not know which one will be powerful enough/overkill for what I typically do. I use a lot of plugins such as EastWest, Spitfire, etc., with Logic Pro X and Dorico 5. My compositions range from 80-track Logic projects to symphonies in Dorico. Currently, I am using a 2021 16-inch MacBook Pro with an M1 Pro chip. Typically, I have infrequent system overload issues with Logic (I always work from an external drive), but I would like for the program to flow better. Thanks in advance! Chien-Tai Chen

UPLOADING MUSIC FROM MY EXTERNAL HD.I have a MAC of 2022 with chip M1 and ventura 13.5.2 Good evening, I have a problem that I would like to explain to you. Until yesterday I had uploaded 7000 songs+videos to MUSICA. The music files were hosted on an external disk, I had no load on the internal disk (the total capacity of the internal disk is only 500GB). Yesterday the external disk broke, I had a back up and I tried to reload songs and videos on MUSIC. The problem is that now the songs are loaded onto the internal disk. (To transfer the songs I open the external disk and I double click on the song. This way the song is loaded into MUSIC,but the files are uploaded on internal disk). I would like to know how I can do to keep the music files on the external disk without them passing onto the internal disk where I have no space. I hope I have been clear. Please help me .thanks-Michele
