Unwanted Tracking

As the administrator of my phone plan, how does my child track my location without my knowledge or permission?

iPhone 11, iOS 16

From what you describe, it seems that your child has gotten hold of your phone and has told it to share your location with your child’s iPhone.

Try this: Open Settings. Tap on your Apple ID name at the top of the screen. Tap on ‘Find My’. At the bottom of the next screen is a list of all of the people you are sharing your location with. If your child is on the list, tap on his name and then tap on ‘Stop Sharing My Location’.

Your child will have had to have granted such permission from your unlocked phone, so you may need to change your 6-digit pass code to prevent re-registration.
