LED Cinema Display, Mac Studio, and 27" Stiudio Display

Have happily discovered that my 13 year old 27" LED Cinema Display with mini display port connector will indeed connect to my current gen laptops thanks to the OWC hub with the mini display port connector and function as one would expect it to, although at the expected resolutions of that display. In anticipation of the delivery of a Studio, I am relieved to not be obliged to run out and get a new display to use with it, but since the LED CD supports only half the resolution the Studio can deliver, I find myself curious what the current consensus opinion about the current 27" Studio Display, particularly as regards the status of the quality of the FaceTime camera built in following the firmware update that was to fix initially disappointing performance to the display's camera. Are those of you who are using the Studio Display happy with it now? It's a bit spendy for device with a subpar video cam, but if it is indeed fixed, that is less an issue then.

In my opinion, Based on how readers react to posts on the forums, you have piled far too many issue into one post.

if you really want helpful answers, break your topics into smaller pieces and post each separately with a title that will intrqgue readers who may be able to sneer each query.

Example: want to know "Is the camera in the Studio Display is working good enough?

^--post just that as a query.

Also, as someone whose eyesight is not like a 20-something, I find More white space makes it easier to return my eyes to the text, find my place, and continue reading. A solid block of text is easy to get lost in.

Minor correction to the original post, the OWC device is NOT a hub, rather it is the OWC Thunderbolt 3 DOCK which has the mini display port. SIDETRACK : As it happens further testing show that when connected to the M1 MacBook Pro, delivery of audio from, say, Music app via the dock connection to the LED CD does not appear to work properly, although it works with the I7 MBP fine. The i9 MBP also seems not to be able to receive the audio though the OWC dock. I still have some more troubleshooting to try and a call to OWC support in case they have ideas about it.
