My watch doesn’t activate, after I try to pair it, it turns back to a screen before pairing

We see that you're not able to pair your Apple Watch Series 5 with your iPhone. To clarify, have you completed the steps from the resource you were reviewing?

Set up your Apple Watch


  1. "Make sure that your iPhone has the latest version of iOS. (Secure your data with a backup before proceeding)
  2. Turn off your iPhone and turn it back on.
  3. Turn off your Apple Watch and turn it back on."
