Private Relay

Hello, I noticed that while using private relay my phone was trying to connect to 17.188.143.252 using Thunder VPN. My question is do need to allow Thunder VPN to use iCloud private relay?

iPhone 11 Pro Max, iOS 16

This Apple Developer document goes into more detail as to what addresses need to be unblocked for Private Relay:


Prepare Your Network or Web Server for iCloud Private Relay - Support - Apple Developer


Apple has been assigned the Class A 17.x.x.x/8 block of addresses, so both 17.188.143.252 and 17.188.169.68 are valid Apple IP addresses.

It would be better if you can please re-post with a screenshot, in order to understand the phenomenon better. Images/pictures speak louder than words. 


Please understand this is a public forum: While attaching a Screenshot, do not provide any personal credentials, such as IP address, Card detail, email id, apple id, IMEI number, Serial Number, Phone number, Order ID, if you are sharing a map ensure your location is not identifiable, etc.
