Disabling hyperlinks in Preview

I have printed a Gmail email and then selected "Save as PDF". The PDF file is in Preview. All the hyperlinks are active. Can I disable the hyperlinks?

Hi there ExNeddiesBoy,

Thank you for posting to Apple Support Communities.

We understand you'd like to disable hyperlinks in Preview, is that correct?

With the document open in Preview, follow these steps.

  1. Go to Tools > Show Inspector
  2. Click on the pencil icon
  3. Select the link(s) you'd like to remove from the document
  4. Press the "delete" key

This article has additional information about the Inspector tool in Preview: View information about PDFs and images in Preview on Mac - Apple Support

That should help.

Let us know if you have any questions.

Take care.
