WhatsApp voice note error

I am attempting to record a voice note on my WhatsApp, and this is what it shows me. I have restarted the phone as indicated but I still can’t record a message. The microphone settings are fine.

Has anyone experienced this?

Same issue here. Happens randomly and is really annoying. After 2-3 minutes goes back to normal and allows me to send voice messages again. Did anyone contact Whatsapp regarding this issue?

Maybe you should post in a WhatsApp forum or contact their support. As already stated Whataspp is not an Apple product.
