As soon as the process of installation starts (i.e. the app "install Mac OS" starts, it shows the page where it says "Loading Installation information" .. the process seems to be stuck there.
I deleted the installed program "install macos", and restarted the process. I remember getting an error before the install MacOs program started to run. And I was able to replicate the error. Here is the screenshot:
