watch ultra always on display not working

I know there are others that have asked, I have searched and tried all of the solutions I could find, with no luck.

Have tried resetting (several times)

unpairing and re-pairing

low power mode is off

theater mode is off

the always on display will work intermittently at best but mostly does not

When you say Always On isn't working, what exactly is happening?

Since it is not mentioned in your post, have you had the chance to make sure that your devices are up to date?

While it isn't inherently assured that an update will resolve the issue, updating to the latest software version for your devices can help isolate potential software issues.

Kindly secure a backup and update.

Hello, Thank you for your respnce

The watch is up to date. (9.3 build #20S648) Iphone 14 pro max is up to date as well.

The watch screen goes completely black and turns back on sometimes when I turn my wrist but most times I have to tap the screen in other words acting as if the always on is not turned on. I recently did a hard reset and it worked great for about 6 hrs then it went back to the odd behavior
