I'm confused; so I can no longer preview songs and buy them individually? I have to pay a monthly subscription??? If I'm wrong someone please tell me - otherwise... Bye Bye Apple!!

Update: When I search a song to listen it brings up that window. I do now see the iTunes Store as an option in the sidebar, but I don't have the ability to search. I'll keep fiddling. Thanks for the help.
You'll see iTunes Store on the left menu bar. When you search, be sure that you have the toggle on the right set to iTunes Store.
You can preview and buy songs in the iTunes Store. In Music Settings make sure iTunes Store is enabled.
Hi - thanks for your quick reply. Unfortunately, iTunes is checked and it still won't let me past the window saying free trail for one month then I pay. ?
